How to See The Future In Your Dreams (Methods That Can Help)

How to see the future in your dreams featured

Dreaming is a beautiful adventure; on the border of mysticism and seeing the future in your dreams is something absolutely possible. Even if there is a lot of misconception about this, thanks to scientific research on man’s nocturnal activity, we know more: dreaming is a natural medicine to increase creativity, train memory, stabilize mood, and open up our intuition to the unknown. But what if we are not able to dream? What if we cannot surrender to the dream world to see the future in our dreams? Therefore, not being able to dream is a waste of well-being and health, which we often do unconsciously. Let’s see how to see the future in your dreams.

How to see the future in your dreams

But how do you dream? Or rather: how does this magical state of our head facilitate dreaming, in the REM phase of sleep, the one in which the movement of the eyes is rapid and we have the most powerful dreams? Here are 10 tips to facilitate our dreams, and make them unforgettable, starting from the assumption that, unfortunately, we sleep less and less and worse. And this is the first misstep that makes us lose the pleasure and the discovery of dreams.

Don’t use an alarm clock

If you don’t have a strict need, avoid an alarm clock. Especially with a smartphone, as there is a risk of leaving it on all night. When the alarm goes off, it does so through an intense noise that you cannot ignore; there is a good chance of moving and interrupting your dream during the REM phase of sleep. Among other things, the early hours of the morning are precisely those of the REM sleep cycle.

Train your memory to dream

This exercise has a double benefit: it trains the memory and stimulates the dream. The more you can remember what you have experienced during your dream experience, the more predisposed you will be to dream. A good way to not forget dreams is to write, like a diary, the essential plot. Over time, you will have made a fantastic album of memories.

Take time to reflect and remember

As soon as you wake up, when you feel that you have just come out of a dream, take your time. Do everything calmly. Try to reflect and remember what you have dreamed of; it will be a pleasant exercise, even for memory, and will give you a habit of remembering that stimulates dreams.

Use the drawing method

In addition to writing, drawing also greatly facilitates the memory and frequency of dreams. In this case, the same goes for the pen: the sooner you manage to take down, through drawing, what you have dreamed, the better it is for both the quantity of things you remember and the custom to dream. You don’t necessarily have to be an artist to draw your dreams, but many artists do that to help their creative flow!

How to recognize premonitory dreams

But is it possible to recognize premonitory dreams? According to experts in the dream field, a good clue to think that our dreams fall into this category is that they are recurring and emotionally pregnant, so when we wake up, they leave us with memories and feelings of what happened. Obviously, it could also just mean that we are living a particular period of our life, perhaps made up of worries, hopes, or expectations. In this case, dreams are mere images of our moods, therefore descriptive and not predictive.  If we dream of numbers? The first instinct is to play them in the lottery, in honor of the Kabbalah, but let’s always remember that it is always good to want to trust the interpretation of dreams, just for fun, as long as you don’t risk large sums of money. Even if predictions were reliable and guaranteed (which is almost impossible), let us remember that life is made up of variables and free will, two elements that can mess up any type of clairvoyance.

What if the messages are not that clear?

I firmly believe in seeing the future in our dreams. This happened to me a lot! But sometimes I have these weird complex dreams and I don’t know how to interpret them so that’s when I rely on some useful tools to unveil the true messages and see the future in my dreams.

Meditation to evoke dreams

Before going to sleep, you can meditate on the following cards, observing them well and perhaps leaving the mind free to imagine, visualize, and allow oneself to evoke meanings.

Put on your altar or on your bedside table:

The Priestess, the Moon, and the Hermit to evoke prophetic dreams. The Priestess is linked to the ability to receive, the Moon is the hidden, invisible aspect, which is hidden in the meaning of the dream, and the Hermit is he or she who sheds light, following an inner path.

To evoke a beautiful dream, extract the Ace of Cups, the Moon, and the Star. With the Ace of Cups, you contact your emotions and immerse yourself in the dream world, with the Star you call protection, good luck, and contact with what shines. The Moon remains the central card, connected to the dream.

Dream journal and tarot cards

You can start keeping a dream journal and you can write down what you remember about your dreams in the morning, using the cards. First, write freely what you remember about the dream, then answer these questions:

First answer by writing freely, then choose from the cards of your tarot deck those figures that seem to answer the questions better. Then search in the meaning of the card if there are connections with your dream, if they broaden its meaning, or if they reveal other ways of interpretation.

Dream analysis exercise

For this exercise I suggest using the entire deck with both upright, reversed, and still uncovered cards: in the first case, you will choose them randomly, pulling them face down. In the other case, you will consciously choose the images to associate with the answers.

The questions to be answered are:

In cases of a COVERED card, it is there to reveal something hidden, that you don’t know, something you don’t see or something you are not ready to face yet.

Seeing the future in your dreams is useful and should not be experienced as scary or stressful, but rather as a chance to become more aware of yourself and get ready to change your future.
