The Pocket Spell Creator by Kerri Connor (ISBN 1-56414-715-0) published by New Page Books a Division of Career Press is the most complete compendium of essential lists I've ever read. These essential lists include lists and descriptions of:

1. The Elements and their associations

2. Full Moons and their associations

3. Moon Phases and their associations

4. Days of the Week and their associations

5. Colors and their associations

6. Crystals and Stones and their associations

7. Foods and their associations

8. Herbs and Plants and their associations

9. Oils and their associations

10. Types of Spells

11. Ethics and Procedures

12. Oil, Incense, and Bath Salts Recipes

13. Incantations

Kerri also included two worksheets for Spells and Rituals and a small but very good list of references. She chose some excellent books for future reference.

I really like her recipes. But I can't think of anything in this book I don't like. Kerri covers these topics well enough for most spells and rituals.
