GREAT TAROT DECKSThe Tarot Institute reads and analyzes several tarot books and decks every month. We write reviews of only the very best materials available. We share with you here the best of the decks we've read on the subject of Tarot. I am One Tarot by Maya Britan is a tarot deck for advanced students, collectors and art aficionados. It's not an easy deck to use and master, but the rewards are well worth the effort. Pagan Tarot Deck by Lucia Raimondo and Christano Spadoni is one of the better Wicca-based decks available for Tarot readers. The authors obviously understand both Tarot and Wicca very well. The Quest Tarot by Joseph Martin is a computer-generated 3-D Tarot deck of sharp, vivid and colorful cards. This deck has great appeal for collectors, computerized graphics buffs and dreamers who like to look at and go inside their cards. Secret Tarot Deck by Marco Nizzoli is a beautiful Lo Scarabeo deck typical of this Italian publisher. But it's not just a collector's deck. It's a good deck for intermediate to advanced readers too. Universal Tarot illustrated by Roberto De Angelis is a vibrantly alive Lo Scarabeo deck in the Rider-Waite genre that fits small to medium-sized hands better than most decks. The Witchy Tarot by Laura Tuanis a beautifully done Lo Scarabeo deck (all their decks are really beautiful) with what the author calls a witchy flavor. This deck will appeal to all Earth-based spiritual people. |
