Taking the Tarot to Heartby Mark McElroya review by Solaris, CPTRMost readers would shy away from doing romance readings as those types of readings tend to be predictive or expect a reading to be done for a third party (person who is not present at the reading). In this book, Mark Mc Elroy teaches you to rephrase a question to get a solid answer and to brainstorm to search for answers for questions of just that sort! He gives these steps in chapter one. He says that each of seventy-eight cards suggests or represents and idea, approach, action, person, moment, action, information, or influence. Using his author experience from having been a corporate coach, Mr. Mc Elroy presents the information by Telling you what he's going to tell the reader in chapter previews; telling us in tables of contents for each chapter; and then telling us what he told us in the in a nutshell chapter summaries. Hey--three times is the charm, and a little reinforcement drives the information home, right? The beauty of this book is that it is written for both couples and singles. There are spreads for each that will answer questions such as: Find a soul mate; Partner traits; Breakups; Tell a partner what’s on your mind; How to forgive; and What's going to happen in our relationship. Taking the Tarot to Heart covers situations that anyone could experience. Both inexperienced and professional readers will laugh as the author's sense of humor makes you think. He says that if you take tarot too seriously, the reason cards come in a box is to throw at the reader! Mc Elroy explains how the issue relates to or is influenced by the suits and courts as being specific approaches and the people who use them. Chapter five gives games such as Love Notes for Two to bring tarot into your love, sex and relationships. Chapter six teaches you to come up with questions and pull messages, meanings and ideas from the cards. One way is to describe the card aloud as if speaking to someone who can't see the card by speaking in first person: I am? Chapter seven teaches you about Power Tools, one of which is the Single Card Draw. You can also do the Personal Romantic Profile to explore your needs and approach to love, sex, and relationships by answering questions related to the major arcana cards. Chapters nine through twenty have spreads if you are looking for a partner: looking for a perfect partner, partner traits, new perspectives, and compatibility. For all the tricky and sensitive questions about romance, Taking the Tarot to Heart (ISBN 0738705365) will show you how to rephrase the question and how to brain storm for a perfect answer. This book gives us card meanings (helps if you are a first time reader), games, activities and further references, all which will help begin, improve or restore your relationships, all with unconditional love.
