TAROT PSYCHOLOGY: BIRTH CARDSby Wald and Ruth Ann Amberstonea review by John GilbertThe Tarot School, founded and perpetuated by Wald and Ruth Ann Amberstone, is the first major organization to use teleclasses for instruction. It's a beautiful concept. Students call a secure number and meet together in a classroom-on-the-phone. I've attended several of their teleclasses and hosted a couple dozen telephone seminars myself. In my opinion, they're an excellent teaching and learning tool. Last year the Tarot School launched a new series of teleclasses they call Tarot Intensives. The first year of Tarot Intensives is called Tarot Psychology. The first teleclass in this new year of Tarot Intensives is called Tarot Psychology: Birth Cards. Wald has already presented the second intensive in this series called Tarot Psychology: The Elemental Array which will be covered in a later review. Other intensives are planned to complete this series on psychology. The Tarot School is offering a set of four tapes titled The Tarot School Intensives, Tarot Psychology: Birth Cards (ISBN 1-931806-13-6) available through The Tarot School over their webpage Tarot School, by telephone at 800-804-2184 or by email to Tarot@TarotSchool.com. These tapes were recorded during the teleclass and include the lecture by Wald interspersed with student questions and comments. The first thing Wald explains in the tapes is how to calculate your birth card pair. You'll love this. This pair of cards is a doorway through which you travel during this lifetime. My birth card pair is 18-9 (so is Ruth Ann's and three other people in the class). As I look back over my lifetime, I believe this pair best describes my journey. That alone convinces me Wald and Ruth Ann have a winner with Tarot Psychology as their first Tarot School Intensive. By the way, Wald himself is an 11-2. Wald takes us on a journey through these birth pairs by looking at what the main figure in each card of the pair is doing. He looks at the postures of the main characters in the cards, the colors of the card, the garb of the characters and other card details. He leads us on a journey of looking at the similarities and differences between each pair of cards. Unless you're familiar with Wald and Ruth Ann's approach to tarot cards, this will be an eye-opening experience in itself. But even if you understand their approach, you'll love the way they handle their birth card pairs. I've used birth cards for years and taught others how to use them. But I've never seen or heard anything about birth card pairs before. Between all the systems I've tried, I've got to tell you The Tarot School's birth card pairs approach is by far the most accurate I've ever tried. None of the other systems ever hit the nail on the head like this one. I could see myself and how I've lived my life spelled out beautifully. No other birth card system has ever done that for me. I believe you'll find the Tarot School system for handling birth cards to be a wonderful new tool for you to understand yourself and your clients. Recommended without reservation. Just a few words of caution: Caution: Some of the questions may be redundant or sound ridiculous Never mind: Wald fields all questions expertly Caution: The numerology system being used may be unfamiliar to you Never mind: Wald explains it very well, so not to worry Caution: You might love this system and youmight loose some sleep Never mind: It's worth it. |
